We’re thrilled to welcome you to a brand-new school year at Ranchero Elementary! Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we’re so happy to have you as part of our caring and vibrant community. New Student Registration Day is Tuesday, August 26 from 9:00am-2:00pm at the school office.
📅 Key Dates & Reminders
Tuesday, September 2
- Non-instructional day – No school for students (Staff planning day)
Wednesday, September 3 – First Day for Grades 1–8
- Early dismissal at 11:05 AMÂ (Buses leave around 11:15 AM)
- Students will spend the day with last year’s teacher and classmates
- Bell rings at 8:05 AM – Students line up at the front of the school
- New students will be placed with similar-aged peers
- School-wide assembly at 9:00 AM all are welcome to attend
- Kindergarten students do not attend this day
Wednesday Afternoon – Class Placement Notification
- We aim to finalize placements by Wednesday afternoon
- Teachers will email families around 4:30 PM
- If enrollment changes occur, final placements may be sent Friday or Monday
Thursday, September 4 – Kindergarten Begins
- First day: 8:15–9:15 AM
